Sweta Shah, MD

Sweta Shah, MD, is a native of New Orleans. She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Shah's residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Her Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology was earned at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Shah is board certified in Allergy/Immunology through American Board of Allergy and Immunology and in Pediatrics through the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Shah is available to see adults and pediatric patients at our conveniently located Metairie and Hammond offices. Her primary interest is in pediatric allergies with a focus on preventative care and food allergies.
